In reply to Megan Van Meter. The way I was taught and have always played is that the person collects the stones on their side when the other player finishes. I noted that other, digital implementations (like 51 Worldwide Games on Switch) play the same way. I think the scores would be much further apart doing it the other way.

In reply to Adam. Hi! I’ve seen conflicting answers about who gets the remaining stones once someone’s side is empty. This site and others says the person with stones remaining gets to keep them. Just as many sites say the opposite! Do you have a perspective on this?

Excellent review Adam. One correction, you mention you have to play gold for trade action, it’s actually money you have to pay. Gold is one of the 18 resources in the game. It is understandably easy to mis type because we use gold/money interchangeably in many euro games.

In reply to Don Vincenzo. Like most other Uwe Rosenberg solo modes, it's a case of trying to score well as you solve the puzzle. If that's what you enjoy, it's great. Nusfjord is still my favourite solo game of his, but Atiwa is good fun too.
